I am currently planning a bridal show for one of my dear friends, while surfing the web today for some unique ideas I came across some great creative ideas for centerpieces. Clockwise from top left: “All Choked U” by Jackie Shapiro (of French Bull fame); “Veggie Garden” by home design guru Christopher Lowell (I didn’t notice at first glance but love the details that the pots are filled with pistachios!); “Spool Party” by Product designer David Stark; and “Recycled Chic” by cookbook authors Matt and Ted Lee.

I spent New Years Eve photographing Chloe and Aj’s wedding with Jen Fariello and had so much fun capturing all the beauty and love of the day. They were married at the UVA chapel with an amazing reception to follow at Veritas Vineyards.

The Friday of the great snow storm of 2009 the Rannigan family and I braved the cold for some fun shots of the kiddos. I love that they invited their parents so the kids have some special pictures with their grandparents and the whole family together. At the very end of the shoot we were doing some photos in an open corn field just as the snow started, so beautiful!

A COLD but super fun shoot. I captured so many fun moments while Caroline showed me around her farm, her secret garden, her favorite place to play hide and seek…

Recently I had the pleasure of assisting a wonderful local photographer, Dominique Attaway, on one of her weddings. Here are a few images I shot from the day.

How awesome are these headpieces by twigs & honey! These would be so fun to wear (and to photograph) at your wedding. Myra Callan creates these unique pieces for your wedding day as well as boutonniers and coursages.
