If you are a dreamer, com in
If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar,
A hoper, a prayer, a magic bean buyer…
If you’re a pretender, come sit by the fire
For we have some flax golden tales to spin
Come in!
Come in!
Listen to the mustn’ts child,
Listen to the don’ts
Listen to the shouldn’ts
The impossible, the won’ts
Listen to the never haves
Then listen close to me -
Anything can happen, child,
ANYTHING can be.
- Shel Silverstein

The sun was shining last weekend and I loved being out in those golden rays shooting and getting to know Mimi and Jeremy. Their wedding is this weekend and I cant wait to photograph it!

Pink tutu’s, presents, and cupcakes; the perfect combination for a first birthday celebration.

I spent one January afternoon in the studio of Laurel Denise to snap a few pics of her new line. I love all the details she has around the studio and loved integrating those details into the shoot. Her blog is a great place for fun finds and inspiration!

Spring is finally just around the corner and it has been so exciting getting outside and shooting some fabulous engagement sessions. This past weekend I headed up to Georgetown for a few pics with Emily and Billy. I cant wait for their wedding this summer.

I wanted to post a sample of a final product… you may remember Austin and Rick’s engagement session posted a little while back… Austin and I have been working together to frame a few of her favorite pics from the shoot and here is the final product.
The large frame is my favorite! Made from reclaimed ceiling tin, the photo is an 11×14 and it makes for a stunning finished piece. The small wooden frame is made from reclaimed wood from New Orleans and the clear is a “floating glass” frame with the photo sandwiched between the two glass pieces, a perfect tabletop frame.
